Welcome to The Drawing Works Welcome friends, though we are no longer open for business in San Francisco we are keeping our site up to keep the history of The Drawing Works alive! We will be developing a series of workshops in the south bay, so please check back with us this spring. Why the Drawing Works? Drawing is at the heart of all other disciplines, it is the most fundamental, the primary way that we begin to express ideas visually. Whether with a stick in the sand, or a doodle on a cafe napkin, drawing is a touchstone to our creative worlds. At The Drawing Works you will learn how turn these initial creative impulses into fully realized images.
